An Easter Message from our Chairman
Our March Committee meeting was a hybrid, and I do not mean an electric and petrol one. Only a couple of committee members were present in the meeting room and, with the room to themselves, they were able to practice social distancing with a high margin of safety. All other committee members were participating via Skype and remaining safely at home. The meeting was a success and, with the reduction of travel and it’s related costs, could indicate the way forward for committee meetings once this medical emergency has passed.
It is with regret and in line with UK Government and IAM Roadsmart recommendations that all observed runs, advanced driving tests and group meetings are suspended for the foreseeable future. Membership will be extended, once we resume, for all Associate Members who have been unable to progress with their courses. Meanwhile the message from your Observer is keep practicing what you have learnt so far.
