ABOUT BLYTON PARK

Blyton Park, like many modern circuits, began as an airfield.
RAF Blyton opened in 1942 during World War II, housing 2,355 service personnel. Initially serving as an Operational Training Unit for Polish aircrew, it later hosted the 199 squadron and became home to a Heavy Conversion Unit. After the war, it became a US Air Force reserve field, with tarmac-coated runways. The site continued as an airfield until 1954, though the runway remained in use for practice.
In 2011, motorsport enthusiast Richard Usher acquired the airfield and transformed it into a 1.5-mile tarmac circuit. Blyton Park Driving Centre opened soon after, offering track days and driving experiences.
