Who is our course suitable for?

No matter where you are in your driving journey, we want to help you feel as confident on the motorway as possible.

Developing your motorway driving might seem completely off-limits as you don’t want to face the process alone. This is where focussing on motorway driving in our Driving Skills Refresher can help.

If you can relate to any of the following statements, improving your motorway driving with IAM RoadSmart could be a good option for you.

Our Driving Skills Refresher is a great way to familiarise yourself with the different rules and procedures when it comes to driving on the motorway. You can focus on any area of driving in the session, but focussing on motorway driving can be an ideal way to build your confidence and skillset to tackle any challenges you may face.

It’s completely normal to feel anxious when driving on a motorway, especially if you are not used to it. Our IAM RoadSmart experts are trained to help you feel at ease throughout your session and will support you by addressing any specific areas you might find to spike your motorway anxiety. By familiarising yourself with the different rules, and with a few simple tips, you will be well on your way to overcoming your motorway anxiety and becoming a safer driver.

An important factor for new drivers to consider is that motorway driving can be more challenging than driving on other roads. With a higher speed limit, more lanes, and more information to consume, it can be intimidating for more inexperienced drivers. By practising with an IAM RoadSmart expert, we can provide key guidance to help you be as comfortable and confident as possible when driving on the motorway.
