Course overview

Why should you take this course?

To become a licenced taxi driver, most licensing officers will request that you pass a formal assessment to ensure that you are a proficient driver, and that you are able to provide a safe and considerate service for passengers.

IAM RoadSmart is an official taxi assessment provider. We cover the requirements of most councils across the UK. Please note, it is your responsibility to check whether your local licensing authority has any additional requirements not covered by our assessment.

You must have the appropriate insurance, valid MOT and tax

Upon successful completion you will be issued with a certificate and a copy of your Driver Evaluation Report
