Meet the members of Lichfield Advanced Motorists Group
We are a community of Advanced Drivers who want to keep their road knowledge and skills up-to-date; a dedicated group of Observers who are qualified to share their knowledge of Advanced Driving in structured IAM RoadSmart courses and regular supervised drives; and the IAM RoadSmart Associate Members who are taking the courses to improve their driving skills and become Advanced Drivers. We are also joined in our meetings by Social Members: partners and friends who aren't taking courses but want to be involved in our activities and events.

Group meetings
We hold a combined monthly meeting for all our members on the morning of the last Sunday of the month, except December. There are also drives available on the evening of the second Wednesday in the month.

YOUNG DRIVER EVENTS
The Covid-19 pandemic prevented us going ahead with the event in 2020 and 2021, but we are dedicated to our aim of introducing Advanced Driving to young drivers, pre-test drivers and young would-be drivers. We have bursaries to encourage young drivers to take the AD course at a reduced or no-cost arrangement. You can read about last year's event in the Autumn Newsletter Issue 50.
