TD ride to Stokesley - Dave Went - 27/6/20
Here is a brief comment from Dave Went about the ride he led last Saturday:
It went quite well. Weather was a bit patchy, but more dry than wet. Five in all (Graham West didn't join us).
Good run through roads less used through Harton, Howsham, Birdsall and Burdale to Fimber where the Cafe is open for business, including the loos.
Then north to Malton and into the Vale of Pickering, where I got us a little bit lost (I blame the high hedgerows) before reaching Kirbymoorside.
The group split up at the viewpoint just south of Hutton Le Hole. Symor and I took the scenic route over the NY Moors - over Blakey Ridge and down Westerdale - to Stokesley for some take-away fish and chips.
