For those who are joining the Easingwold & District Community Day on 11th May, here is some more information.
Location in the Galtres Centre and Facilities and Equipment Allocated to Your Organisation
Arrival Time
Access for set-up is available from 8am on the morning of Saturday 11th May.
Parking
The Galtres Centre front car park will be closed as exhibitors will be located there. However, the car park at the rear of the Galtres Centre will be open as usual and will be available all day on a first-come first-served basis.
Parking in Easingwold will be restricted at the Market Place car park (behind Smiths Printers). Please keep the bus stops clear as they will be in use as normal throughout the day.
It will be a busy day in Easingwold but there is ample on-street parking and car parks at Butter Cross (the central bus stop area), Millfield and car parks off Long Street so parking spaces should be available for all.
Arrival in the Galtres Centre
Galtres Centre volunteers will be available in the Reception area to direct you to your allocated location and to help with any queries you may have. In addition, there will be clearly marked lists to indicate your allocated location. Over 50 organisations will be setting up before 10am and we aim to support everyone to settle in as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Refreshments
The Galtres Centre is offering a café service with beverages, sandwiches, cakes etc. from Kurt’s Bar during the day. Alternatively, the Easingwold cafes, pubs and shops will be open as usual to buy refreshments.
Departure and Clearing Away
The event finishes at 4pm and Galtres Centre volunteers will be available in the centre until 5pm. If you need more time to clear away please let us know so that we can support you.
Guides and Programmes at the Event
Guides will be active at various locations around Easingwold and programmes with maps and timetables will be available. Every participant will be given a programme upon arrival.
