2016 Member of the Year announced

The committee of York Advanced Motorcyclists is pleased to announce that long-standing National Observer Cedric Johnson secured the most votes in the 2016 Member of the Year poll. Team5 and Social Ride Organiser Pete Tidball was the runner-up. 

 

Both of these members will receive sponsorship enabling them to undertake Master mentoring and enter the test to attain Master status. Master status is the highest level of riding awarded by IAMRoadSmart and is tested by the most senior examiners. 

 

Voting for this award is open to all members of YAM, including Associates, who have the opportunity to vote for any Full Member who they think is worthy of the title.

 

Many congratulations to Cedric and Peter for their well-deserved achievement.

 

Voting for the 2017 Member of the Year title will open at the start of the 2017 riding season.
