A fond farewell to Angela
A little belated, but this is a News item of importance to T5 and a small tribute to Angela or Ange as she referred to herself, who ran the Dalton Diner on the Dalton Industrial Site for 13 years.
For just about all this time the Wednesday Wobbly Wheelers, started by long time members of YAM, used it as a favoured watering hole. Not only because the food was of biker taste and proportions but as important (or perhaps more so) because it was all at Yorkshire Prices! ;-)
In due course T5 also started to go there for just the same reasons and, as with the WWW, because we enjoyed the friendly abuse we received from Ange every time we went there.
The point is that for economic reasons Ange very regretfully had to close the diner her last Saturday being 24th September.
So of course we had to be there to mark this momentous occasion and thank her for eveything.
