YAM 2019 Christmas Social Event

Hello everyone – some information about our next social event.

This is your invitation to join us on Saturday 30th November 2019 for our annual, festive, Christmas meal and Social evening.

Like last year, we are holding it in ‘Digby’s Restaurant’ at Sherburn Aero Club, New Lennerton Lane, Sherburn, LS25 6JE.

It will be a 3 course, sit-down meal (including vegetarian options) with a Christmassy theme, including party poppers and crackers. It should be a relaxed, casual evening with no long, boring speeches etc.

A welcome drink is included when we gather at 7pm and sit down to eat around 7:30pm. There is a bar, serving draught beer, lager & cider etc, in the reception area, for pre & post-dinner drinks.

The price this year is £25 per person, which includes live entertainment and the welcome drink. 

There will be dancing after the meal, both to records and to a live, 4 piece band – Mid-Life Crisis. The band plays 60’s & 70’s music including The Beatles, The Hollies, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie etc. You can just sit and listen or get up and dance the night away!

We will have use of two rooms on the night, so if you just want to sit quietly and talk, that is also an option.
