SWAM membership fee reduced to £10 a year from £20!

Tuesday’s EGM at St Mary’s Golf Club approved the proposal to reduce the SWAM membership fee to £10 a year from £20. Club Chairman Mike Donovan told the meeting he believed the lower fee would result in a higher membership retention rate. The lower rate is also in line with other groups’ fees.

As a charity, SWAM also does not need to - and should not - hold more money than it needs. The group has some £4,000 in the bank.
