Training towards the IAM Advanced Certificate will normally take place 1 to 1 with a Local Observer or on our mass training days.
As of May 2018 we will aim to put on a mass training day once a month,
Attendance of all mass training days is not compulsory.
For example, members may choose to attend either all or a few sessions depending on their availability, with a chance to pick up the missed sessions when they are repeated later on in the year.
The training days do offer an opportunity to help reach test standard in a shorter timeframe, while also socialising with other group members.
We start with a classroom session followed by an observed ride, then a lunch stop with a second classroom session followed by a second observed ride in the afternoon.
Cost for the day?
We only ask for the usual fuel contribution to the observer of £10-15 depending on distance travelled.
All training days take place on a Saturday 09.30-16.30 at Thunder road, Tremains Road, Bridgend, CF31 1UA
Please use the "contact us" section for more information.
Dates for the training days will be posted in the "events" section.
