New Membership Coordinator

With immediate effect Andrew Phillips will be taking on the role of Membership Coordinator, replacing part of my role as Membership Secretary. This is an important new Committee position which emphasises our commitment to increasing and retaining full membership of Solihull Advanced Motorists and IAM RoadSmart.

Andrew will concentrate on drawing new Full Members from Associate Members who pass their IAM Advanced Driving test, and other sources, and helping to improve the Social content of membership by ensuring all Members benefit from an interesting and varied programme of events and meetings via our newly-formed Events Team.

Andrew will also be very grateful for your ideas on subjects for meetings and events for the future. The more input we get from you the more likely it will be that the events and meetings programme will reflect your wishes rather than the views of a small number of people. We love organising events which you want to attend, but not ones you don’t like!

Thank you for your support during my ten (plus) years as Membership Secretary. I have enjoyed meeting many of you over this period, and have made many new friends.
