January Ride out

Excellent, disciplined, supportive, well led, and fun January monthly ride out with 20 riders.🏍 Great company. Reasonably dry and nice and little traffic.

Starbucks Chiverton Cross start. A typical winters ride of 73 miles of arround 140mins with a stop in St Mawes on the beautiful Roseland Peninsula. Heading East towards Newquay & Quintrell Downs. Turning South, taking in Summercourt and Grampound Road. Heading back towards Probus and via Tregony to St Mawes. Parked on the main carpark in St Mawes. Da Bara for coffee, or a huge fry up if your name was Colin or a pasty for young Lofty. Tide was well out- no wonder hose pipe ban still in place 😅 Continued after up past the Castle and on to the King Harry Ferry. A39 to Perranaworthal, left towards Carclew and down into Penryn. Through Argal, across to Mabe Burnthouse, briefly onto the A394. Through Stithians to Burncoose and Carharrack. Across the 30 to Porthtowan and finally back to Chivy.
