St. Helens Council is the lead Authority in Merseyside for senior road users. Its aim is to reduce the number of over 60's who are killed or seriously injured on the roads by raising public awareness.
It addresses the issues experienced by senior road users as well as assisting them in making more informed choices about travelling within Merseyside.
Jim Cunliffe, Senior Observer, is the SHGAM representative on the Senior Road Users thematic group. More information about the Senior Road Users Group and the Merseyside Road Safety Partnership can be seen by clicking the following link.
