South Essex Group of Advanced Motorists have some fantastic news.

In recent weeks we have been keeping the IAM examiners busy!

Mr Glynn Gibson started our little run of success by passing the RoadSmart test followed shortly after by Mr Robert Heddell, both were Observed (mentored) by group chairman Ian Bolton. Their success brought Ian’s tally of consecutive test passes to 10.

Next to pass was Mr Luke Baker aged 21. Luke’s observer was Dave Hillier. Dave has done such a good job of mentoring Luke that Luke has decided that he would like to become an Observer. We hope to start his training in the next few weeks.

We were still not finished with the test passes. Mr Ian Brown took his test on Sunday and passed with a F1RST, this is not only good news for Ian, but also for his Observer Ray Waker. Ian is Ray’s first associate to go to test and for his first associate to gain a F1RST is very special. It is also SEGAM’s first F1RST this year.
