In 1940 the Supermarine Spitfire factory in Woolston was bombed. What followed was a race to relocate and continue the production of this iconicfighter aircraft in the surrounding area.

Alan Matlock, chair of the Spitfire Makers Charitable Trust gives a talk focussing on the human story of this vital war programme. He will go on to talk about the nearly 30 secret sites that we now know of in the Southampton area!
