June 2023 Social Evening
The Scunthorpe & Grimsby advanced motorists had a visit from the Police at a recent social meeting. It was a contingent of Humberside's finest dog section. Sgt. Rachael Pell and Gareth Walker, later assisted by P.C. Al Young.
They gave a tremendous insight into what they do every single day.
How they train their dogs and also how they help and protect daily. They have practical demonstrations of how they work and how much effort goes into their daily routines and lives. The care and affection was really apparent, and it was a two way thing. It was an absolutely brilliant meeting, with demonstrations of finding drug paraphernalia, tracking people, and other aspects of their work.
