1953: Newsreel visits a police school for advanced driving
In 1953 Newsreel, a popular BBC programme from the time visited a police advanced driving instructor who had some top tips. Wonderful nostalgic visit well worth watching. You will notice that health and safety was less well developed in 1953 as part of the demonstration is to aim the skidding car at the watching crowd of police.
