Advanced Course Taster

If you are considering taking the Advanced Driver Course but are unsure if it is for you, then why not take a free taster session with one of our Observers.

The Skill Check Sundays provide an ideal opportunity to do just that so you experience first hand what it will be like.  Come along and give it a go.

You will take the session in your own car with the Observer in the passenger seat. They will run through an initial briefing session letting you know what to expect.  Next you will be out on the road with the Observer giving you directions.  Firstly they will assess your current driving to understand areas which may require development.  Next they will feed in some of the advanced techniques to give you an idea of what an observed run is like.  You will return to the starting point where the Observer will provide a short debrief. 

If you would like a member of your family or a friend to come along then please feel free to invite them.  

Skill Checks are currently held in two locations, Leeds and Castleford.  See our events pages for location and dates.  If you do wish to attend one of the Skill check sessions them please drop us an e-mail at myam.enquiries@outlook.com to let us know which session you would like to attend.  We will then ensure we have an Observer available for you on the day.

If Sunday mornings are not suitable for you then please get in touch by dropping us an e-mail to myam.enquiries@outlook.com, letting us know your post code and general availability.  We will then set up a session with an Observer local to you if possible.
