Great Gains in Gainsborough
IAM Lincolnshire gave the first of 13 Confident Driving presentations booked this year to the Gainsborough U3A group.
A total of 90 people attended and of these 19 registered for taster drives. Several of these people have already indicated they intended to take an Advanced Driving Course. One lady has already booked two courses for her daughter and granddaughter.
Confident Driving presentations bring advanced driving techniques to every day drivers, with hints and tips about how people can improve their driving skills, confidence and enjoyment. Along with a £50 donation to our charity funds, they prove a very successful way to raise awareness of the need to improve driving skills.
