Background in Driving
Aron has been on the road for over 30 years, on both motorcycles and cars.
Having joined the Gloucestershire IAM in 2021, he achieved the IAM RoadSmart Advanced F1rst award and went on to complete the IAM RoadSmart Masters course with a Distinction pass award before moving into observing and joining the committee.
As a keen track day enthusiast, he has spent several years gaining track instruction on a wide range of cars from classic muscle cars to single seaters, as well as gravel rally driving.
He is looking to obtain his racing licence this year as well as experience some local Hill Climb events in his modern classic BMW 325 M Sport.
Supporting Our Group
Aron is a committee member and acts as our Associate Coordinator, providing liaison and support between new associates and observers from sign-up through to test.
He also supports the group on the social and marketing side and helps out with our stand at shows and events.
Outside Interests
Aron's main hobby is simulator racing online and is heavily involved in running some large racing groups.
When not at the wheel, or watching motorsport (he has seen every Formula One race since 1987!), he enjoys walking with the dog and photography to relax and also loves music and live gigs.
