Background in Driving & Coaching
Mel is a qualified ADI (Approved Driving Instructor), IAM Advanced Driver, qualifying in 2016 at the highest level with a F1RST, and holds both IAM Local Observer and National Observer qualifications. Mel has also undertaken Neurodiversity training from the DIA, and has a background in coaching on the road, 1:1 sessions, and in the classroom.
Supporting Our Group
Mel also volunteers in the group as Committee Member and Group Editor, distributing the group's bi-monthly newsletter. Mel also supports our marketing efforts, including designing our group fliers and posters, and writing the odd web article!
Outside Interests
When Mel isn't volunteering as a Group Observer or on our Committee, as an avid automotive photographer & all round petrol-head she can usually be found surrounded by cars, usually with either her camera or tools in hand! Mel is also a huge Classic Car fan - with her favourite being the Triumph Stag (we'll let you be the judge of that!)
