In last months newsletter we let you know that from the beginning of March we relocate our meetings to Lostock Parish Centre, Tempest Road, Lostock, Bolton, BL6 4EL.
This venue will be well known to many of our members, as we hold our new course Introduction Evenings there on four occasions each year.
Lostock Parish Centre (LPC) has good car parking (with Disabled spaces near the front entrance) and is a modern well lit and heated building. It is in a good location for members to easily get to by car being not far from Beaumont Road, also being close to Lostock railway station.
Our Group meetings, which will still be on the first Tuesday of each month, will be held in the Octagon Room. This room is more suitable for our numbers attending Group meetings, and being smaller it has a much improved atmosphere. Lostock Parish Centre does not have a bar, however there is a kitchen where we can make our own tea/coffee drinks, or alternatively you can bring your own drinks with you. It has a licence for consumption of alcohol on the premises (but not a licence to sell).
We appreciate that for some this may mean a longer journey for some, but for others it will be nearer. It may even be the same. Whichever it is, we hope that you will continue to support the Bolton Group at our monthly meetings.
Our final Group Meeting at Dobbies will be on February 4th, and our first meeting at LPC will be on Tuesday March 4th. We are also trialling starting our meetings at 7.30pm rather than 8.00pm, thus finishing at 9.30pm.
